Windows, Mac, Linux - What's your preference and why?
Submitted by ramblingsbymark.
Well, until about a year ago, I had only been a PC guy. I was a bit timid to take the plunge into the Mac world even though I had many friends that would swear by them. However, a job I had almost required that I get one and purchased one as part of my employment. I now am fully a Mac guy and have since converted a few others as well.
To me, Apple is much more user friendly than I expected. The transition was a very easy one and although I still have a PC here at home, I find it clumsy and lacking now that I have my IBook G4 on my lap most of the time. I really love the fact that I have zero spyware issues, and even little things like not needing to log in and reboot constantly to keep things moving at a decent speed. I was always having to do that crap on my PC.
My next home computer purchase will be a Mac as well, I guess Im another disciple......
What TV show(s) will you be watching this season? Why?

Survivor - I was an early Survivor nut but lost interest until I got married. My wife dragged me back in and I havent missed much since. This season the tribes are separated by race and so far, its been quite boring, lets hope it picks up and soon.
The Amazing Race - This one has been my favorite of the reality shows in recent memory, maybe all time. Its actually about the competition rather than who can backstab whom or who is more popular. A cant miss.
Lost - Its funny, as much as I enjoy this show, I wont be watching this season, at least not until the DVD hits, we are still in the midst of season 2, so dont tell me what happens!
Heroes - Its rare that I watch a new series but Im gonna check this one out and see what the buzz is about.
What's your middle name? Is there a story or history behind it?
Michael is my middle name, the only story behind it is that its a inherited name. So, instead of being a junior or "the third" I only got saddled with this middle name. If was my fathers first and of course I passed it on to my son.
When was the last time you had to speak in front of a group? How did you feel?
I actually had to be on a panel last weekend in Indianapolis with some other music bloggers. We had to talk about how bands should submit stuff to us via snail and electronic mail. Ive never had an issue with public speaking actually, I think some people are just born with or without that feat I guess.
My dad is the pastor of a church and has been for many years so maybe that is where I learned public speaking or maybe there was a little hereditary gene passed on through that. Anyway, first time ive jumped on the question of the day. I must say its a genius idea from Vox.
