You hate to see anyone get injured in this game, but it happens all the time. Lots of questions this week surrounding the hit on Trent Green that Robert Geathers dished out. It resulted in a nasty concussion for Green, who is doing fine now. Here it is, decide for yourself.
Another season of Bengals football is upon us and this has to be the most interesting one to date. Carson Palmer got his knee crushed last season in an unforgettable game against the hated Steelers and somehow is back fully recovered. And you know, he somehow also looks better so far this preseason. The offense will be back and at full speed as well, offensive lineman Willie Anderson, Levi Jones are both back and with fat new contracts to match their guts to clog up the front.
The D should be much improved, after all, i cant remember ever having any depth at defensive back. I do remember having to rely on Artrell Hawkins at one point years ago. That guy would not even make this team. Im excited to see what rookie first rounder Jonathan Joseph has to offer at nickel back.
It seems the biggest question this year is the incredibly tough schedule the Bengals have to go up against. The Patriots, Colts, Broncos and Panthers all muddy up the schedule this year not to mention 2 dates against the defending Super Bowl champs in the Squeelers and a much improved division. This Sunday is week one, the Bengals travel to Kansas City and take on Larry Johnson and the Chiefs. Should be one heck of a way to kick things off.

Thats certainly not a unique idea but I have no problem talking about sports. Im actually quite obsessed with the Cincinnati Reds, Bengals and fantasy sports in general. But I would be insincere if I didnt mention What If Sports and Gridiron Dynasty. If I had the time I would probably blog about my current teams and coaching achievements.

What If is even based right here in Cincinnati! And last year the big boys from FOX came knocking about purchased them for a nice chunk of change. So go check em out, and also, check out the Reds hanging in there in the wild card race. Sure would be nice to taste the playoffs for the first time since 1995.
Yeah so I know many people outside the Cincinnati area or probably the Midwest never made it past the title of this post. But the game also known to some out west as "beanbag toss" has become the thing to do here in recent years.
If youve been to a BBQ or any outdoor event you might know what I mean. I often have referred to the game as yuppie horseshoes. But in reality there isnt much yuppy about it. The scoring is the same as horseshoes mostly, but if you are actually interested, I guess you should go here.
I wont lie though, I find it quite fun and have been known to toss a bag from time to time. Its certainly a fixture at tailgating parties. Ahh, tailgating. Not long until my Cincinnati Bengals get ready to defend their division title of last year. Dont worry, ill be talking about sports here quite a bit.
